Definition

কোনো কিছুর সবচেয়ে উপরের অংশ, কাউকে বা কিছু সবচেয়ে ভালো দেখাতেও ব্যবহৃত হয়, অথবা পাত্রের ঢাকনা বোঝাতেও ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'top of the mountain' মানে সর্বোচ্চ স্থান; 'top student' বলতে শ্রেষ্ঠ; 'put the lid on top' মানে ঢাকনা লাগানো। 'top priority' বলতে সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বোঝায়। বিভিন্ন প্রেক্ষিতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
