Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Paluup, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The Service

Paluup is an English learning app that provides vocabulary tracking with spaced repetition, AI-generated stories, and an AI chat tutor. The service is provided "as is" — we do our best to keep it running and improving, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to use Paluup.

4. Your Content

You own the vocabulary, images, and other content you add to Paluup. We don't claim ownership of your content. We use it only to provide the service (e.g., sending your vocabulary to AI to generate stories).

5. AI-Generated Content

Stories and chat responses are generated by AI and may contain errors or inaccuracies. They are meant as learning aids, not authoritative language references.

6. Acceptable Use

Don't use Paluup to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Abuse the AI features (e.g., bypassing safety filters)
• Reverse-engineer or scrape the service

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

Paluup is a free learning tool. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
