Definition

ছোটখাটো ক্ষত বা দাগ যা পড়ে যখন ত্বক বা কোনো পৃষ্ঠ অংশ ঘষা খেয়ে উঠে যায়। এছাড়া, ছোটখাটো ঝামেলা বা সমস্যাকেও বোঝাতে ব্যবহার হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'scrapes' সাধারণত ছোট খোঁচা বা ক্ষতের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয় যেমন 'scrapes on your knee'। কথ্য ভাষায় 'get into scrapes' মানে ছোটখাটো ঝামেলায় পড়া। 'scratch' তুলনায় 'scrape' বেশি বিস্তৃত ক্ষত বোঝায়।
