फसल काटना, या लाक्षणिक अर्थ में अपने कार्यों का फल प्राप्त करना। अक्सर 'reap what you sow' (जो बोओगे वो काटोगे) वाक्यांश में प्रयुक्त होता है।

आधुनिक अंग्रेज़ी में ज़्यादातर लाक्षणिक अर्थ में इस्तेमाल होता है। सामान्य संयोजन: 'reap the benefits,' 'reap the rewards,' 'reap what you sow.' यह 'get' या 'receive' से अधिक औपचारिक/साहित्यिक है। शाब्दिक कृषि अर्थ रोज़मर्रा की बोलचाल में कम आता है।
