बहुत धीमी और अस्पष्ट आवाज़ में बोलना, आमतौर पर तब जब कोई व्यक्ति परेशान, शिकायत करता है या खुद से बातें करता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अधिकतर अनौपचारिक; ऐसी बात जो स्पष्ट या जोर से नहीं बोली जाती, आमतौर पर शिकायत या परेशानी में। अक्सर 'hear', 'caught', 'stop' के बाद आता है। 'whisper' (फुसफुसाना, रहस्यमय) और 'mumble' (अस्पष्ट बोलना) से अलग है।
