Agnostic Meaning in English
word
Definition
An agnostic is someone who believes it is impossible to know if God or a higher power exists. The word can also describe someone who is uncertain or noncommittal about something.
Usage & Nuances
'Agnostic' is mostly used in religious discussions, but it can describe anyone who is unsure or undecided about something. Not the same as 'atheist', which means not believing in God.
