Definition

誰かが進んでいると言う場合、自分の意志で何かをする心構えや気持ちがあることを表します。強制されず、助けたり挑戦したりする姿勢がある時に使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

たいてい『to + 動詞』とともに使う（例：willing to help）。能力ではなく気持ちや同意を強調します。「be willing to」という形が一般的です。

彼女は私たちを助けることに**進んでいる**。
