지퍼를 열거나 컴퓨터에서 압축 파일을 풀어서 내용을 확인하는 것.

옷이나 가방의 지퍼는 '지퍼를 열다', 컴퓨터 파일은 '압축을 풀다'라고 한다. 'zip up'(닫다)과 혼동하지 않도록 주의. 거의 이 두 상황에서만 사용한다.
