المسار الذي يتبعه شيء ما أثناء تحركه في الهواء أو الفضاء، خصوصًا المسار المنحني لشيء مقذوف؛ يمكن أن يُستخدم أيضًا لمسار حياة أو مسيرة شخص.

كلمة 'trajectory' رسمية وتستخدم كثيرًا في العلوم والتقنية، أو مجازًا لمسيرة الشخص أو حياته. تعبيرات مألوفة: 'flight trajectory'، 'career trajectory'. لا تُستخدم للمسارات البسيطة أو المستقيمة (استخدم 'path' أو 'route').
