اللصّ هو شخص يسرق شيئًا يخصّ شخصًا آخر. ويُستخدم هذا اللفظ عادةً لمن يأخذ الأشياء خفيةً ومن دون إذن.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

هذه كلمة عامة شائعة في الحياة اليومية. من التراكيب الشائعة: 'catch a thief' و 'stop thief!' و 'a car thief'. لا تخلط بينها وبين 'robber': فـ 'thief' يسرق الأشياء، بينما 'robber' يسطو على شخص أو مكان بالقوة أو بالتهديد.
