Definition

العناية بشخص أو شيء ما (مثل شخص يعتني بحديقة أو بالحيوانات)؛ ويمكن أن تعني أيضًا الميل عادةً للتصرف بطريقة معينة أو الاتجاه نحو نتيجة ('يميل إلى النسيان').

Usage Notes (Arabic)

غالبًا ما تُستخدم مع 'to' للدلالة على العادات أو الميل ('tending to be late'). كفعل، تظهر عادة في 'tending the garden/animals.' أكثر رسمية من 'looking after.' لا تخلط بين 'tending' و'bartending.'
