Usage Notes (Turkish)
'summon' daha çok resmi, hukuki ya da fantastik bağlamda kullanılır. 'summon someone to court', 'summon the courage', 'summon a spirit' gibi ifadelerde geçer. Günlük hayatta 'call' veya 'invite' tercih edilir. 'summon' ile 'summons' (davetiye, tebligat) birbirine karıştırılmamalı.
