أن تدعو شخصًا رسميًا للحضور، غالبًا إلى اجتماع، أو أن تستحضر روحًا أو مساعدة بطريقة سحرية.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

'Summon' كلمة رسمية وتستخدم كثيرًا في السياق القانوني أو المهني أو الخيالي، مثل: 'summon someone to court' أو 'summon the courage' أو 'summon a spirit'. في المحادثات اليومية يُفضل استخدام 'call' أو 'invite'. لا تخلط بين 'summon' و 'summons' (اسم: أمر رسمي بالحضور).
