Definition

إجبار شخص على تجربة شيء غير سار أو ضار أو أن يكون تحت سيطرة شخص أو شيء آخر. غالبًا ما يُستخدم عندما يُضطر شخص لتحمل معاناة أو معاملة سيئة.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

عادة بصيغة المجهول ('be subjected to'). شائع مع كلمات مثل 'violence' (عنف)، 'testing' (اختبار)، 'harassment' (تحرش). يستعمل في اللغة الرسمية أو الأكاديمية. لا تخلطه مع 'subject' (موضوع/مادة) أو 'subjective' (ذاتي).
