スタントとは、映画やショーなどで見せる難しい・危険なアクションや、注目を集めるための行動を指します。話題作りのためのトリックやパフォーマンスも含みます。

映画や芸能でよく使われる言葉で、'スタントマン'・'スタントダブル'のように人に使う場合も多いです。'publicity stunt'は話題狙いの行為で、やや否定的な意味があります。
