Definition
'Slip' kelimesi, dengenizi kaybedip istemeden kaymak veya sessizce, hafifçe, hızlıca hareket etmek demektir. Ayrıca bir şeyi hızlıca, kimse fark etmeden bir yere koymayı da ifade edebilir.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
‘slip and fall’ genellikle kazayla düşmek için, ‘slip into’ giysi/oda gibi yerlere sessizce veya hızlıca girmek için, ‘slip something into’ bir şeyi gizlice koymak için kullanılır. 'slide' daha farklı, daha fiziksel bir harekettir.
