シェイクはアラブ社会で使われる指導者や長老、または尊敬される宗教指導者を指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「シェイク」はアラブ人の指導者や宗教指導者について使います。物語や映画でロマンチックなイメージで登場することもありますが、アラブ以外の指導者には使いません。人名の場合は大文字で始めます。
