छोटे और तेज़ हिलने वाले आंदोलनों के साथ चलना, अक्सर डर, ठंड, कमजोरी या गहरी भावना के कारण। इसका मतलब किसी चीज़ को आगे-पीछे हिलाना भी हो सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

यह आमतौर पर क्रिया 'shake' का continuous रूप है और शरीर या वस्तु की हरकत बताता है। सामान्य पैटर्न हैं 'be shaking with fear/cold/anger' और 'hands were shaking'। वस्तुओं के साथ, 'the table was shaking' का मतलब है कि वह हिल या काँप रही थी। इसे 'shaky' से न मिलाएँ, जो एक adjective है।
