Definition

ছন্দ হল শব্দ, আন্দোলন বা ঘটনার একটি নিয়মিত ধারা বা ধরণ। সংগীত, নাচ এবং কথাবার্তা বা দৈনন্দিন জীবনের গতিতে এটি ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সংগীতে সবচেয়ে বেশি ব্যবহৃত: 'feel the rhythm' বা 'a fast/slow rhythm'। এছাড়া 'sleep rhythm', 'daily rhythm', 'the rhythm of speech' ইত্যাদিতে বোঝাতে হয়। 'beat'-এর সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না; 'beat' মানে একক, আর 'rhythm' হচ্ছে পুরো গঠিত ধারা।
