चिंता, उत्साह या ऊब के कारण आराम या स्थिर नहीं रह पाना। बेचैन व्यक्ति को हमेशा कुछ करने या बदलाव की जरूरत महसूस होती है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

लोगों, भावनाओं या माहौल के लिए आम तौर पर प्रयोग होता है ('restless crowd': बेचैन भीड़)। 'anxious' से अलग, क्योंकि यह अधिक शारीरिक बेचैनी और हिलने-डुलने की इच्छा को दिखाता है।
