घोड़ों के सन्दर्भ में 'reins' अमूमन बहुवचन में आता है। नेतृत्व या नियंत्रण के लिए 'take the reins' का उपयोग होता है। इसे 'reigns' (राज) या 'veins' (शिराएँ) से न मिलाएँ।
