Definition

الـلِجَام هو حزام طويل يُستخدم لتوجيه الحصان والسيطرة عليه. يُستخدم أيضًا مجازًا للإشارة إلى السيطرة أو القيادة على شيء ما.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

'reins' غالبًا ما تستخدم بصيغة الجمع مع الخيل. في القيادة، 'take the reins' تعني تولي السيطرة. لا تخلط بينها وبين 'reigns' (فترة الحكم) أو 'veins' (الأوردة).
