ある場所や段階に到達すること、または誰かや何かに手が届くことを表します。電話やメールなどで連絡を取る意味でも使います。

「reach」は様々な場面で使われます。目的地（'reach the station'）、目標や合意（'reach an agreement'）、手が届く範囲（'can't reach the shelf'）、連絡（'reach me at this number'）など。 'arrive'は場所中心ですが、「reach」はより幅広く、目的語を伴いやすいです。
