Definition

দুই বা তার বেশি সংখ্যার মধ্যে আকার বা পরিমাণের তুলনা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়, সাধারণত ৩:২ মত কলন দিয়ে লেখা হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

গণিত, বিজ্ঞান ও পরিসংখ্যানে প্রচুর ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'ratio of A to B' বা 'A:B' হিসেবে প্রকাশ পায়। 'ratio' এবং 'rate' এক নয়—'ratio' তুলনা, 'rate' বদল বোঝায়।
