무언가가 물이나 부드러운 곳에 떨어질 때 나는 부드럽고 둥근 소리. 명사로 소리 자체나, 동사로 그 소리를 내며 떨어지는 행위를 나타냄.

주로 비공식적이고 실제 소리를 흉내 내는 표현임. 작은 물건이나 사람 등이 물에 떨어질 때, 또는 갑자기 앉을 때 사용. 큰 소리나 무거운 물건에는 쓰지 않음.
