Definition

পিকিংস বলতে এমন কিছু বোঝায় যা পাওয়া যায়, যেমন ‍লাভ, অবশিষ্ট কিছু, বা সুযোগ; সাধারণত যা বেঁচে থাকে তা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সাধারণত বহুবচনে ব্যবহার হয় এবং অনানুষ্ঠানিক। 'easy pickings', 'rich pickings', 'slim pickings' কথাগুলো প্রচলিত। ছোট লাভ বা অবশিষ্ট জিনিস বুঝাতেও ব্যবহৃত হয়।
