コチョウゲンボウは速くて小さいタカの一種です。伝説では、マーリンはアーサー王に仕えた有名な魔法使いの名前でもあります。

鳥を指す場合はコチョウゲンボウを使い、伝説の人物なら『マーリン』とカタカナで表記します。魔法使いの名前には必ず大文字を使います。
