Definition
傭兵は、お金のために戦ったり働いたりする人です。忠誠心や信念よりも報酬を優先する人や、利益だけを求めて行動する人もこう呼ばれます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
傭兵は軍事分野でよく使われます。「mercenary attitude（打算的な態度）」のように、金銭目的で動く人には否定的に使われることが多いです。
