뚜껑은 용기나 상자, 그릇의 윗부분을 닫거나 보호하기 위해 덮는 것입니다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

뚜껑은 주로 용기, 냄비, 상자에 사용됩니다. 'put the lid on'은 실제 덮거나 무언가를 멈추라는 의미도 갖고, 'keep a lid on'은 자제하거나 통제한다는 뜻으로 쓰입니다. '캡'은 주로 병에 사용합니다.
