Definition

人に何かをさせることや、何かが起こるのを止めないこと。時には手放す、解放するという意味にもなる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'Let'の後は人や物＋動詞の原形になる（'letting him go'、'letting him to go'は不可）。'let someone know'や'let someone in'などでよく使う。'letting go'は物理的・精神的に手放す意味もある。
