Definition

전설은 오래전부터 사람들이 전해 오는 이야기로, 주로 마법이나 영웅적인 사건에 관한 것이며 반드시 사실은 아닙니다. 매우 유명하거나 존경받는 사람을 의미하기도 합니다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

'전설'은 옛날 이야기('지역 전설')와 뛰어난 사람('축구 전설') 모두에 쓰입니다. 누군가를 '전설'이라 부르면 칭찬하는 뜻입니다. 지도 등에서 설명(범례) 의미는 포함되지 않습니다.
