किसी चीज़ की पर्याप्त मात्रा न होना, या किसी विशेष गुण में कमी होना। विशेषण या "lack" के वर्तमान कृदंत के रूप में उपयोग किया जा सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

दो पैटर्न: "lacking in" (विशेषण — "lacking in confidence") और "lacking something" (क्रिया — "The team is lacking motivation")। अकेले विशेषण के रूप में ("found lacking"), अपेक्षाओं से कम होने का संकेत। "Missing" से थोड़ा अधिक औपचारिक।
