Definition

পায়ের সাহায্যে মাটি থেকে উপরে উঠা বা কোনো কিছুর উপর দিয়ে চলে যাওয়া। কেউ হঠাৎ চমকে গেলে তার প্রতিক্রিয়াতেও বোঝাতে পারে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'jump over', 'jump up', 'make someone jump' ('চমকে দেওয়া') এবং 'jump to conclusions' (অতিরিক্ত দ্রুত সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া) সাধারণভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'hop' এক পায়ে, 'leap' দূরে যাওয়ার জন্য—এগুলো আলাদা শব্দ।
