Definition
Eller, baş veya vücudun bir hareketiyle bir duygu, düşünce veya işaret anlatılması. Aynı zamanda nezaket ya da destek göstergesi olan davranış anlamına da gelir.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
'jest' veya 'el hareketi' hem fiziksel hareketler hem de sembolik davranışlar için geçerlidir. 'make a gesture', 'a kind gesture' gibi kalıplarda sıkça kullanılır. Daha çok kasıtlı ve nötr anlamdadır.
