Definition

ギャラリーは、絵画や写真などのアート作品を公開する場所です。また、建物の通路や携帯の画像保存場所もギャラリーと呼ばれることがあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「art gallery」で美術館と区別されます。日常ではスマホの「ギャラリー」アプリにも使われます。「ミュージアム」とは異なり、主にアートの展示場所を指します。
