ভবনের ভেতরে হাঁটার জন্য সমতল অংশ; এছাড়াও কোনো ভবনের নির্দিষ্ট স্তর বা তলা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

বাংলা ভাষায় 'মেঝে' সাধারণত হাঁটার পাটাতন বোঝায়, আর 'তলা' ভবনের স্তর। উদাহরণ: 'তৃতীয় তলা', 'মেঝেতে বসা'। 'গ্রাউন্ড' মানে বাইরের মাটি, এটা আলাদা।
