قام بفعل أو قول أشياء ليُظهر اهتمامًا عاطفيًا أو مرحًا بشخص ما، غالبًا بدافع المزاح وليس بجدية. 'Flirted' هو الماضي من 'flirt.'

غالبًا يُستخدم بشكل غير رسمي ويدلّ على عدم وجود نية جدية. شائع مع 'flirted with someone'. أحيانًا يُستخدم إذا أبدى الشخص اهتمامًا مؤقتًا بفكرة ('flirted with the idea')، لكنه غالبًا يدل على اهتمام عاطفي.
