어떤 것을 빠르게 뒤집거나 돌리는 것. 기분이나 상황이 갑자기 바뀌는 것도 표현할 때 쓴다.

'뒤집었다'는 실제 물건 뒤집을 때, '돌변했다'는 기분이나 상황 등에. 'flipped out'은 '완전 흥분했다'거나 '화났다'로 쓴다.
