Definition
Korku, şaşkınlık veya acıdan dolayı ani bir hareket yapmak. Zor veya hoş olmayan işlerden kaçınmak anlamında da kullanılır.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Genellikle ani ve küçük hareketler için kullanılır ('She didn't flinch'), ama hoş olmayan işlere yaklaşmada çekingenliği de ifade eder. 'flinch at', 'flinch from responsibility' ile sık geçer.
