会社や組織で意思決定権を持つ上級管理職やリーダーのこと。管理や運営に関する形容詞としても使われる。

CEOやCFO、CTOなどの役職は「executive」と呼ばれる。高収入や権限を持つ場合が多い。「executive decision」はリーダーが即座に決めること。「executive summary」は要約や概要を指す。
