インターネットを通じて送受信するメッセージ、またはその仕組み。誰かに電子メッセージを送る動詞としても使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「メール」は数えられる名詞や動詞（送る）として使います。「メールアドレス」「スパムメール」などのセット表現もよく使います。「Eメール」も使われますが、「メール」が一般的です。
