‘뚫었다’는 도구로 구멍을 내거나, 반복적으로 연습하여 완전히 익히게 하는 것을 의미합니다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

물리적으로 구멍을 낼 때나 강도 높게 반복 연습시킬 때 사용합니다. ‘drilled into your head’는 강제로 외우게 한다는 뜻입니다. 가벼운 연습에는 쓰지 않습니다.
