主にアメリカ風の小さくてカジュアルなレストランのこと。時々「食事中の人」を指すこともあるが、日常での使用は少ない。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

日常英語で「ダイナー」はレストランの意味が強い。'go to a diner'や'all-night diner'などのフレーズで使う。"dinner"（夕食）と混同しないこと。
