Definition

デリックとは、重いものを持ち上げるための高い構造物や塔で、特に建設現場や石油・ガスの掘削現場で使われます。

主に工業や石油関連の現場で使われる専門用語です。「オイルデリック（oil derrick）」とも言います。「クレーン」とは区別されます。
