বীমা দাবির ক্ষেত্রে, এটি সেই অর্থের পরিমাণ যা নিজে দিতে হয়, তারপর বীমা কোম্পানি বাকি অর্থ দেয়। করের ক্ষেত্রে, কিছু খরচ যা আয় থেকে বাদ দেয়া যায়, সেটাকেও বোঝাতে পারে।
