Definition

کسی بچے یا شخص کی قانونی نگہداشت یا ذمہ داری۔ یہ بھی مطلب رکھتا ہے کہ پولیس یا حکام کی حراست میں ہونا۔

Usage Notes (Urdu)

زیادہ تر قانونی معاملات، خاص طور پر 'child custody', 'joint custody', 'sole custody' میں استعمال ہوتا ہے۔ پولیس کے حوالے سے 'in custody', 'take into custody' عام ہیں۔ عام دیکھ بھال نہ سمجھیں۔
