누군가나 무언가에 대해 잘못됐거나 나쁘다고 생각하는 점을 말하는 것, 보통 단점을 지적하는 것. 또한 무언가의 품질을 분석하고 평가하는 의미도 있다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

대개 부정적인 뉘앙스이나, 객관적 분석에도 사용 ('criticize a movie'). 'criticize someone for...' 같이 사용한다. 'compliment'(칭찬)과 혼동하지 마세요.
