“counts” in Bengali
Definition
কারো বা কিছুর মোট সংখ্যা বের করতে একে একে সংখ্যা বলা। এছাড়াও, কোনো ব্যাপার বা কাজের গুরুত্ব বোঝাতেও ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
'count money', 'count students', বা 'count the days' বলতে গোনার কাজ বোঝায়। 'Every vote counts' বা 'What counts is...' এ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'calculate' মানে গণনা করা, কিন্তু 'count' মানে একে একে সংখ্যা ধরা।
