카펫은 두껍고 부드러운 섬유나 유사한 재질로 만든 바닥 덮개입니다. 방 전체나 넓은 부분을 덮을 수 있습니다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

일상적으로 "카펫"은 큰 바닥 전체를 덮는 것을 의미합니다. 작은 것은 "러그"라고 부릅니다. 'carpet cleaner', 'carpet stain', 'red carpet' 등과 자주 쓰입니다. 'on the carpet'는 꾸중을 듣는다는 뜻의 영어 관용구입니다.
