Definition

행사나 수업, 회의, 장소 등에 직접 가서 그 자리에 있는 것을 의미합니다. 누군가를 돌보거나 신경 쓰는 뜻도 있지만, 대부분 실제로 참석하는 경우에 쓰입니다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

'attending'은 주로 공식적이고 중립적인 상황('attending class', 'attending a meeting')에서 쓰입니다. 가벼운 모임에는 '가다'라는 표현이 더 자연스럽습니다. 'attending doctor'처럼 '담당'이라는 의미로도 사용됩니다.
